IMG_0520 - KopiaAgata Cieszewska is a landscape ecologist and environmental planner educated at the University of Warsaw, Faculty of Geography and Regional Studies. Dr Agata Cieszewska, is currently assistant professor at the Department of Landscape Architecture, University of Life Sciences in Warsaw – SGGW. She was a Kosciuszko Foundation scholar at the Arizona State University, and a visiting professor at the University of Texas. She has got the Fulbright Senior Award. Agata is a Secretary of Polish Association for Landscape Ecology as well as the Journal Problems of Landscape Ecology. She worked on various environmental and planning documents related to Warsaw and other cities in Poland.  She had also prepared Conservation Plans for Regional Parks. Currently she is working on the structure and function of the greenbelts within metropolitan areas.
